the road that leads to the church

i wanted to get married on a small church..small..intimate..private..and really nice church..

h2b is really very accomodating in terms of choosing the church..he doesnt give any in puts at first..so i guess any church i pick is good enough for him..

at first i was considering the church near my home which is the antipolo church..the cathedral..its not big and it has a really nice altar..but then again i was thinking that its a cathedral..and antipolo church is really well known and a lot of tourists visit the church any day of the week..anytime of the day..so i guess privacy is out of the list if i wanted to get married here..

there is some kinda hesitation..its like there is some voice telling me that antipolo church is not it..and the thing is its really far from the hotels where i will be preparing for the ceremony..but there a lot of reception venues near the church..

then there's paco church..its small..intimate..private? i still have to find out..but then i talked to one of my friends and told me that there is a curse there..hahaha! anyways..im really superstitious so theres no way im getting married on a cursed church..

then there's san miguel church..its near quiapo..i dont know if its small..if its intimate..but i think its private there or not..its the church where you can receive the holy sacrament of confirmation..hhmmm

next is the church in guadalupe..the nuestra senora de gracia..its small..its intimate and its private..h2b and i went there..and its really beautiful..its an old church..really nice altar..its in edsa..so its accessible..near makati and a lot of nice hotels for the preparations..

so this was my list of churches..i discussed it with h2b and we decided that we will visit the churches i listed..at first we decided to visit the paco church..but then i heard about the curse so i opted to visit the nsdg instead..

nuestra senora de gracia..mas really magnificient..i have read a lot of stories regarding this church..i saw a lot of pictures..and what was in the reviews are what we saw in the church..we both fell in love with the church..there is some kinda enigmatic feel to it..old..private..intimate..small church..and that was that..no more looking for another church..this is the church for us..

we went inside the gates and i could not contain my excitedness..i was really emotional and was about to cry..hehe! its ridiculous but who cares..and as luck would have it there is a wedding when we went there..flowers in the altar..carpet on the aisle..pretty little flower girls..excited grooms men..blushing bridesmaids..nervous groom..and the lovely bride..and a solemn ceremony..

we didnt stay because its intrusive of us..so we went to the office and inquired about the reservation for the church..

and we will definitely go back there to reserve for our special day..
